There is an open campus held in June, August and November each year targeting high school students as well as their fathers and brothers. It's possible to look around the campus freely on the day and practical experiments can also be participated in. After learning environmental city engineering in the department, for those wanting to polish their techniques and deepen their research can progress to the graduate school (Master's early period 2 years, latter period 3 years). Q3:We've heard that it's a school with a long history?

Environmental and urban areas as a subject goes back a hundred years ago to 1905 to the establishment of Nagoya Higher Technical School / Civil engineering department. The curriculum has been changed along with progress in technology and it was relaunched as an environmental city subject in April 2004 in order to aim for eco-civil engineering that can be compatible with the new world.
